    Sorry if you don’t like it, but it is not a real word. It is used by people who choose to be stupid and remain stupid. Only someone equally as stupid would defend it’s use. I think it’s pretty obvious who the retard is.

    Funny because I had no idea that just because using the word “Conversate” makes you “Backwards, ignorant, illiterate inner city trash who mean to say converse” I had no earthly idea that just because I used that word made me all those things. If that makes me that then I guess that a lot of us are “Backwards, ignorant, illiterate, inner city trash who mean to say converse”

    Its an honest mistake and for you to go and claim that people who use that word are all of those makes YOU ignorant.

    It was no mistake. I hear it almost every day by those who have no sense of personal pride or responsibility. I hear it from those who like being ignorant and stupid and take pride in it. I’m sorry if telling the truth is something that offends you and your personal values. But that’s OK, when you are wrong and have no real defense, just call people names, I’m sure it’s one of the things you do best.

    Yes, children do learn mistakes from their parents but as they become aware as an adult that things they are doing are wrong they have a responsibility to correct those things. Not only are these people making mistakes but they enjoy and actively promote being stupid. Then they wonder why no one gives them the respect they “deserve”.

    it’s slang, but conversate is a word. I guess it’s like how australians pronounce aluminum as “aluminium”. Not a big deal - some people just like to believe they don’t have any words they use that others would consider dumb.

    wow. So, I’m all about free speech and expressing differences of opinion, but frankly I’m tired of getting comment notices in my inbox and email about “conversate”. This was intended to celebrate the “mad scientist” not to create a dialogue about “illiteracy” “ignorance” & “inner city trash”. C’mon people, just have a good laugh every once in a while without all of the political commentary.
